Easy Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Bites

These easy Rolo pretzel bites are the perfect sweet-and-salty treat for parties, potlucks, holiday gatherings, or a simple snack at home. Made with just mini pretzels, Rolo candies, and pecans, they come together quickly without the need for complicated baking.

The combination of crunchy pretzels, soft caramel-filled chocolate, and buttery pecans creates an irresistible bite. They’re especially handy when you need a quick homemade dessert and don’t have much time to spend in the kitchen.

Ingredients

You only need three simple ingredients to make these delicious treats:

  • 24 mini pretzels
  • 24 Rolo candies, unwrapped
  • 24 pecan halves

How to Make Pretzel Rolo Bites

Start by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the mini pretzels in a single layer, leaving a little space between each one.

Place one unwrapped Rolo candy directly on top of each pretzel. Put the baking sheet in a preheated 350°F oven for about 3 to 5 minutes. Keep a close eye on them because the chocolate should become soft and slightly melted without completely losing its shape.

Once they come out of the oven, immediately place a pecan half on top of each softened Rolo. Gently press the pecan down so the chocolate and caramel spread slightly over the pretzel.

Let the bites cool until the chocolate becomes firm. If you want to speed up the process, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for a few minutes.

These little treats are incredibly simple, affordable, and delicious. The contrast between the crunchy pretzel, gooey caramel, smooth chocolate, and nutty pecan makes them hard to resist. They’re a great choice whenever you need a last-minute dessert for a gathering.

Not A Fan Of Nuts?

No problem. You can easily customize these treats if you prefer to skip the pecans. Swap them for colorful M&M candies for a fun party version, or use another pretzel on top to create a crunchy Rolo pretzel sandwich.

You can also experiment with different toppings to make the bites match a holiday, birthday party, or special occasion. They’re quick enough to prepare whenever a sweet craving hits and easy enough for anyone to make.

Try making this easy holiday treat with M&M candies in place of the pecans for a pop of color! You could also make a combination of both.
